Charles Jeffrey was recently commissioned to redesign the uniforms at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, and naturally, George Cox was a perfect fit.

LOVERBOY Creative Director and Founder Charles Jeffrey was called upon by Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and his wife, Lady Madeleine, to rejuvenate The Red Coats’ uniforms alongside the renovations of the building itself. George Cox joined the project in order to instil some more of the familiar historic flair of theatre and performance dating back many years.

Complementing the gender fluid designs and stylings on display are some of our classic Creepers worn universally across the world. Further ties between the two brands can be found within the shared language and balance of elegance versus brutality. The peak-lapel is to our pointed toe what the safety pin is to our monk buckle. Architectural references permeate the linings of the garments, so it only seems appropriate that they are raised up onto a platform. No chance of either party being upstaged here.
