Pink Skipton Creeper being sewn together

The made in England shoes we sell at George Cox are handmade, they are not mass produced in a large factory.

Over 300 processes go into hand-making a pair of our shoes, which means they are not identical pairs, this is part of their charm and desirability.

To make a pair of George Cox shoes is a craft and has taken our shoemakers many years to hone their skills. This skill has been passed down by generations and we are proud to still produce shoes that are handmade in England. We hope you will enjoy wearing them, just as much as we have loved designing our iconic styles since 1906.
