Company Information

This website is managed by Geo J Cox Limited (t/a George Cox) and is registered in England at 160 Alexandra Road, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, NN8 1EH, United Kingdom

Company No: 286315

VAT NO: GB 119 1140 07

Pricing

All pricing is in GBP and inclusive of VAT at 20%.

Customers having goods shipped outside of the EU may claim a discount by entering the code EXVAT as a discount code at the checkout (please ignore the VAT figure that shows after the code is applied, we are working on a fix for this). Please note we cannot process orders for customers having goods shipped within GB or EU that have claimed the EXVAT discount. Customers outside of the EU are responsible for all import duties and tax charges that may be applied by their local tax office on delivery into their country. To note, George Cox cannot be held liable for any delays resulting in late payment or communication with customs.

If you are concerned about additional import duty or tax charges then we recommend that you contact your local customs authority in advance of placing an order to find out any final landed pricing inclusive of taxes.

If you are exchanging an item outside of the EU then we will ensure that the replacement order is marked up accordingly as a non-commercial item, to highlight that you will have already paid any relevant tax and/or import charges.

Handmade Policy

All George Cox shoes are handmade in England, they are not mass produced in a large factory.

Over 300 processes go into hand-making a pair of our shoes, which means they are not identical pairs, this is part of their charm and desirability.

To make a pair of George Cox shoes is a craft and has taken our shoemakers many years to hone their skills. This skill has been passed down by generations and we are proud that our shoes are still handmade in England. We hope you will enjoy wearing them, just as much as we have loved designing our iconic styles since 1906.

If you would like to know more about how they are made, please check out our Process page

Sizes

All sizes on the George Cox website are UK sizes.

If you are unsure of your size then please go and have your feet measured to avoid any disappointment an unnecessary returns or please email us with any sizing queries steve@georgecox.co.uk
