The George Cox x Fred Perry canvas Monkey Shoe: the collision of two icons of the British subcultural uniform. Our Monkey Boot, in all its brutal glory, reconstructed in a heavy canvas, a reference to Fred Perry’s signature sports to streetwear tennis shoes.
The canvas used is a heavier weight than Fred’s usual choice to better balance our corrected leather, found on the toe cap, back strip and double eyelet instep vent – a nod to Fred’s sporting heritage. Constructed on our single crepe sole (16mm front, 26mm back) and fastened with 8 rows of steel eyelets. Finished with sport stitching, the iconic laurel wreath embroidered on the tongue, our castle embossed backstrip and signature D-Ring.
Our creepers can fit differently to other brands. We recommend ordering a half or full size smaller than you would from leading sneaker brands, but the same size as from other English footwear brands. Click here for more information.
